Owen opened Title Partners, LLC in 1999 with his father, Vincent Lee and his wife Heather Lee, Esq. Owen is responsible for all business and legal aspects of the operation as well as handling day-to-day title scenarios. Owen also oversees all staffing roles and responsibilities within the environment. Owen graduated from Michigan State School of Law in 1996 and Villanova University in 1992. Owen is also a licensed title examiner. He has been working full-time in the title insurance field for over 14 years.

Vice President/Co-Owner - Title Partners, LLC, (1999-Present), Plymouth, Michigan

Built organization from scratch to over twenty employees in excess of 200 closings per month.  Opened 3 joint venture offices and currently managing multiple successful marketing agreements.  One of the largest independent First American agents in the state of Michigan.  Supervisor of closing operations, maintaining relationships with underwriters, preparing legal documents for closings, actively participating in clearing of title issues, technology liaison, participation in processing of claims, oversee all aspects of day to day operation of company.

General Counsel/Office Manager - Professional Real Estate Appraisals, Inc., (1996-2001), Farmington Hills, Michigan

Reviewed appraisals, assigned appraisal reports, recruited new appraisers, accounts receivalbe manager, handled all requests for reconstruction of value.

Legal Intern - Honorable John H. Gillis, Jr., (1994-1995),Wayne County Circuit Court, Detroit, Michigan

Wrote draft opinions, researched motion decisions, in-court aid to Judge Gillis.

Residential Appraiser - Professional Real Estate Appraisals, Inc., (1992-1996), Farmington Hills, Michigan

Performed and executed appraisals for existing single-family homes, condominiums, vacant land and 2-4 family income properties.

Title Insurance Educational Trainer:

I frequently speak to different organizations around Metro Detroit on matters of Title Insurance, particularly on two topics;  Prevention of Mortgage Fraud and Title Insurance, How it Relates to Reverse Mortgages

Recently, First American Title Insurance Company (our underwriter) had requested me to address the Real Estate Section of the Michigan Bar Association at the annual convention in Traverse City, Michigan.
